The Drawing Course is aimed at introducing the different principles and techniques of drawing as an art form. The student will be introduced to the classic concepts of traditional drawing and how to use them to bring more life-like images to the page. Each week a new topic will be discussed and demonstrated with the student both drawing in class and on their own during the week (1 to 2 hours per week).

Software Requirements
The Drawing Course requires no specific software, just pencil and paper and a way to scan/take a picture of your work.
Experience Necessary
None needed! The classes in The Drawing Course can be taken in any order.

Course Formats
1. Live Classes: Meets 1x/week with full access to teacher; homework is graded by a professional animator. 2 to 4 hours per week of additional live interactive opportunities such as Live Streaming sessions and Live Grader Q and A’s.
2. Recordings With Grading: Watch the recording anytime during the week of the live class with full access to teacher; homework is graded by a professional animator. 2 to 4 hours per week of additional live interactive opportunities such as Live Streaming sessions and Live Grader Q and A’s.
3. Recordings Only: Watch the recording anytime (all year round) but NO access to teacher and NO homework grading.

Session Dates
Sessions are usually around 12 weeks long.
There are three opportunities per year to attend a Live Class or view Recordings with Grading: Spring Session, Summer Session, and Fall Session.
